COVID-19 UPDATE
We have three priorities as we lead the QSS Group through the COVID-19 pandemic – keeping our colleagues safe, assisting our clients and protecting our business. The health and safety of everyone that we come in contact with is paramount. We are closely monitoring all aspects of our business and are confident that we have the team, customer partnerships and protocols in place to maintain all your weighing, inspection and packing needs through this uncertain period.
Since the emergence of COVID-19, the QSS Group has implemented an extensive range of measures to keep colleagues safe and has a contingency plan in place in order to mitigate any supply issues should the current outbreak become more widespread. The Group’s supply chain and production network have remained fully operational and levels of customer service have been as strong as ever.
At present, we are in full operation and all our staff are currently free of any infections. We can confirm they have not visited any of the current places of infected countries, nor have they had any contact with anybody who has been tested positive to the virus.
All our parts are sourced from a variety of different countries; however, we can confirm that at present none of the suppliers we use are currently on the main world infected area list.
It is unfortunate that we cannot guarantee there will be no delays for spares or new machines as the current situation is affecting all companies globally, but whilst the country is still permitting travel and commuting, we will attend and adhere to all our customers’ requirements.
All customers with a 5*service level agreement will as always get priority and full access to free technical support throughout their contract.
We are currently advising all customers to contact us with regards to any critical spares that they require to avoid any unfortunate breakdowns.
Hygiene standards and the safety to all will not be compromised and will always be our number one focus here at QSS.
This is an unprecedented time of change and disruption for our industry. Whilst many things are still uncertain, we’d like to extend our support & solidarity to everyone in these difficult times.
